Student Teachers & Interns Demonstrate Knowledge, Skills

Exhibits Reveal Impact on PK-12 Students

Tuesday, December 1, 2009

Student teachers and interns gathered on the third floor of UNO’s College of Education and Human Development to exhibit samples of the work that they are currently performing in their classrooms. The exhibits were primarily triptych in form, though many of the exhibits were enhanced by computer media and three dimensional manipulatives. Interns and student teachers presented their work, which represented every content area, from Early Childhood to Secondary Education.

Helene Derbigny, the Director of Field Experiences, organized the event. Also present were faculty and staff members, Dean Jim Meza, and Assistant Dean Martha Blanchard .

The event took place from 3 - 5 p.m. in the hallways surrounding the third floor computer resource rooms.
