Students Training Animals: Role Therapy




The purpose of this page is to report the results of a program created to help students with behavior disorders learn to control their own behaviors by learning how to train dogs.
START 1 Start 1 is the pilot project during which two middle school students with behavior disorders were taught how to train a service dog.
START 2 Start 2 is the first replication study during which three middle school students with behavior disorders were taught how to obedience train three separate dogs. (START 2 is currently under construction.)
START 3 Start 3 is the second replication study during which three middle school students with behavior disorders were taught how to obedience train three separate dogs. (START 3 is currently under construction)
