This year's institute will be held on the campus of St. Martin's Episcopal School in Metairie, LA just minutes from downtown New Orleans. This year's institute will feature 40- and 80-minute talks, presentations, and panel discussions. The institute will afford participants many networking opportunities. Educational technology will be a theme that permeates the institute.

This year the institute will expand to offer more sessions for science teachers as well as sessions for middle school teachers. Featured speakers include Ellen Johnston (Texas Instruments), Audrey Weeks (Calculus in Motion), Bruce Baguley (Cascade Math), Candace Timpte (UNO, Biology), Nikki Hanegan (BYU, Biology), Ira Nirenberg (Consultant), Kay Butler (Taylor Science & Technology HS), Jim Marsalis (St. Martins HS), Janell Simpson (Taylor Science & Technology HS)
